FS+P is a fully licensed trust company in Liechtenstein. Founded in 2016, FS+P is a young and aspiring trust company of the modern generation. Our core competencies include taxes as well as regulation and compliance, which cover all the key elements of the fiduciary sector.

As a trust company, FS+P structures, manages, and protects its clients' assets across generations. With competence and a focus on practice, we assume responsibilities such as succession and asset planning or financial and economic consulting.

We advise and support private individuals, families, and companies with our comprehensive range of services specified in more detail below. We promote the interests of our clients and carefully manage the assets entrusted to us.

PRIVATE-BENEFIT AND PUBLIC-BENEFIT FOUNDATIONS

In addition to private-benefit foundations and trusts predominantly intended to serve private or self-benefiting purposes, FS+P also offers services for public-benefit foundations and trusts. Public-benefit purposes are understood to be those whose fulfilment is of benefit to the general public. This is particularly the case if the activity serves the common good in a charitable, religious, humanitarian, scientific, cultural, moral, social, sporting or ecological sense – even if only a specific category of persons benefits from the activity. 

In contrast to private-benefit foundations, public-benefit foundations are subject to independent audits by an external auditor as well as to the Liechtenstein Foundation Supervisory Authority (STIFA). Exclusively public-benefit and irrevocable foundations may also, subject to compliance with certain conditions, seek membership of the Association of Liechtenstein Charitable Foundations e.V.

PROTECTED CELL COMPANIES

In addition to foundations and trusts, FS+P forms and manages corporate entities such as public limited companies and limited liability companies (company formations). FS+P's services also include establishments and protected cell companies (PCCs) as well as corporate and tax advice.

FAMILY OFFICES

To facilitate the management of large private wealth, FS+P offers professional prerequisites for the operation of cost-efficient family offices. In cooperation with selected partners, FS+P takes care of legal and administrative matters relating to the safeguarding and management of assets.

For the support of our clients, we are in close contact with partners such as lawyers, patent lawyers, banks, asset management companies, insurers and pension schemes, management companies, and managers of collective investments and investment funds under the UCITS Act and AIFM Act, auditors and audit firms, as well as other service providers.

REGULATION, COMPLIANCE, AND FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGIES (FINTECH)

Financial technologies (FinTech) represent an opportunity for FS+P and its clients. In line with the approach advocated by the Financial Market Authority Liechtenstein, FS+P makes use of regulation in such a way that established financial service providers and new companies can implement their business models. FS+P is regularly involved in selected projects drawing on innovations such as blockchain, cryptocurrencies, initial coin offerings (ICOs), token generating events (TGEs) and initial token offerings (ITOs), as well as depositary functions.

RESIDENCE, ESTABLISHMENT, AND SETTLEMENT OF PERSONS AND COMPANIES IN LIECHTENSTEIN

A special core competence of FS+P is the settlement and support of foreign persons, families, and companies in Liechtenstein. On the basis of the restrictive Liechtenstein residence law, only a limited number of residence permits are granted each year. Half of the residence permits for nationals from Switzerland and the EEA are distributed in a lottery, while the other half is issued by the Liechtenstein Government upon application. 

FS+P's services in this regard focus on the application procedure but regularly extends to related areas such as tax advice, acquisition of real estate, obtaining work permits, company foundations, and the settlement of foreign companies, foundations, or trusts in Liechtenstein.

Its in-depth knowledge and practical experience allow FS+P to perform a relatively reliable assessment of the chances of success of enquiries regarding the planned settlement of private individuals and families in Liechtenstein, even before the formal application process is initiated.

In general, the relocation of private individuals and the domicile of companies, foundations, or trusts has implications under tax law. FS+P is familiar with these questions and provides its clients with competent support.

FS+P is a fully licensed trust company supervised by the Financial Market Authority Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority Liechtenstein. FS+P is also an active member of the Liechtenstein Institute of Professional Trustees and Fiduciaries and bound by its Rules of Conduct .

FS+P also holds a business licence from the Office of Economic Affairs for the purpose of management consulting.
